One of the most valuable learning tools of the yoga4cancer Certificate Program is the extensive training manual.
The yoga4cancer Certificate Program Manual is designed to be used in conjunction with the online learning system. The manual is divided into sections that align with each online module. The material in both mediums will support each other and at times will be repetitive to ensure comprehension of core concepts.
About the Manual
- The +330 page manual is a combination of Tari’s experience over the past two decades, including research, clinical application, and information from oncology experts, like the American Cancer Society, the CDC and the National Cancer Institute.
- 3rd party expert contribution has been curated to best support your education. There are plenty more resources out and we encourage you to continue to research and learn independently.
- Please note that each module section is individually numbered due to references. But you can use a Preview file or other types of PDF readers to identify the page number in the entire document.
- The manual is structured to support online learning and provide deeper information. We encourage you to read the sections as they are referenced in the online learning system (e.g. not reading ahead of the online learning module that you are working through).
- There is no Module #6 in the manual as that module is focused fully on the Practicum and all materials are provided in the online learning system.
- We encourage you to print your manual and store it in a binder. But, we recognize this is likely to be expensive and have provided a black and white version below.
- In the Program Terms and Conditions, you accepted Ownership & Proprietary Rights requirements. Use of the manual without permission in other professional training programs is forbidden. Please review.
The manual is provided in Module #1: Download Manual topic of the online learning program. This is only available to registered and active trainees. It is provided as a pdf for downloading and / or printing.
