What is Chemotherapy-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy? A side effect of certain chemotherapies that cause damage to the peripheral nerves. CIPN presents as weakness,, pain, cramping, coldness, a numbness (loss of sensation) tingling or a “pins and needles” sensation.
